Hello! Welcome to La Battaglia. The home of all things Italy (politically and historically speaking). The title means "The Battle" and the subtitle means "The Truth of Italy".

Originally, this site was dedicated to only a blog and a series of news articles. However, I have recently expanded the scope to make this website essentially THE overview for the Italian Republic, both for the layman and the interested (well I would hope you're interested either way).

PER ITALIANI: Se tu sei Italiano, non ti preoccupare, fra poco questo sito avera una opzione per applicare l'Italiano come lingua, non mi dimenticare!

There will only be FACTS and TRUTH on this website (probably!)

THIS SITE WILL CONTAIN:

I will do my absolute best to maintain a neutral stance. Contrary to popular belief, it is much harder than it looks to be unbiased when writing political spiel, emotions are (believe it or not) pretty hard to let go of! If you so much care about my opinion and what I actually think about on the matter, then look no further to my 'editorials' (AKA my blog).

MY END GOAL

To make the real Italy show itself to the world, and I mean the one you never see in those travel pamphlets (or the very obnoxious travel friend that tells you "WOW I HAD THE PIZZA THERE AND OMG LET ME TELL YOU ABOUT IT FOR 2 HOURS" every time they visit Italy). You may not need to know about what happens there per se, but spreading awareness about something never hurt anyone... except the people that are.

If you're at all interested in why I began this website to begin with, among other things, see my "burning" questions page just below:

Questions

Here's an image of the clock situated on the Palazzo Quirinale (Quirinal Palace), think of it as a symbol of the current state of Italy.
